General Specifications
The Floccin™ Slurry System gives a superior system to inject hydrated Floccin™ products into a pressurized pipe containing untreated wastewater.
The dry granular or powder Floccin™ products are fed from a 2,000 lb. bag at a controlled rate to the hydration tank, where they are hydrated in water or untreated wastewater with the aid of a variable speed mixer. The incoming water is monitored by the ultrasonic probe and allows the system to create a consistent slurry concentration. The solution is then pumped upstream of a DAF or clarifier, where the flocculation reaction occurs.
These units are all stainless steel construction. Dimensions are approximately 3-1/2’ by 3-1/2’ by 5’ 10” tall and require a minimum 6’ clearance overhead for loading. Units have feeder baskets to accommodate a 2000 lb. bag. Feeder requires 110V/1 Φ, 20 amp service. Controlled On/Off or variable signal inputs. Self-cleaning 3/4 hp feed pump. Removable hydration tank cover.
