Submit Your Wastewater Sample for Testing
Wastewater Sample Shipping Procedure & Requirements
We usually suggest the customer ship us two or three plastic two-liter containers (such as soda or fruit juice bottles) of sample wastewater that are then placed inside a 5-gallon sealed bucket. This is referred to as "double-sealed" shipment, in case of leakage.
The exterior of the 5-gallon container should have posted the following four pieces of information:
- Our address:
Integrated Engineers, Inc.
40308 Greenwood Way
Oakhurst, CA 93644
(559) 683-8284 x106
Attn: Dan Kramer - Your return address.
- Identification that the contents are a wastewater sample
- A description of the constituents that may be contained in the wastewater
Note: If your wastewater contains hazardous materials (heavy metals, organic hazardous wastes, etc.), please also include prepaid return containers for the full sample volume, so that all untreated wastewater can be returned to you. Integrated Engineers cannot take responsibility for disposing of hazardous wastes.
You should separately send us the information you note at the top of an email as well.
If you are able to measure the pH of the sample wastewater before shipping and provide us that information, it is often valuable since the pH may shift during the time it is in shipment to us and may affect our testing results. We can compensate for this shift as part of our testing, so as to be more accurate in our results.
Please notify us on the date you are shipping the sample, so we can be expecting it to arrive.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards, Dan
