Manufacturing Wastewater Treatment Case Studies
Wastewater Treatment Study for Mining Metals Lab
Integrated Engineers, Inc. conducted a treatability test on water containing metals in solution from a mining company’s analysis labs.
Initial pH was below 2, so it was adjusted to 6.5 to 7.5 using caustic. This lowers the solubility of the metals, and helps the Floccin™ wastewater Flocculating Agents to work better.
The Floccin™ 1105 worked well at a dosage of 2.1 grams/ 1,000 ml of wastewater (treatment dosage of .9 lbs. of Floccin™ 1105 to 50 gallons of wastewater).
The treated pH was 6.5 to 7. The floc formed very solidly and clarity of the treated water was good.
