Tractor Manufacturing Plant Wastewater Treatment Case Study
The wastewater from the tractor manufacturing facility was being trucked to a wastewater treatment facility 120 miles away for treatment and disposal of the wastewater. The wastewater consists of heavy cutting oils/lubricants that could not be treated using conventional chemistries.
Integrated Engineers developed a treatment process, which involved Floccin™, our own custom flocculating agent. The mixing requirement was heavy to get the water to break. As the water reacted with the Floccin™, it started to separate into solids and a milky white colored water. Continued vigorous mixing for an additional 10 minutes made the final transition of water clarity as the floc absorbed the rest of the contaminants leaving clear water. The sample filtered well.
